'nana')
Our mini pomegranates make a very decorative addition to any conservatory, or patio in the summer.
From late spring onward the pomegranate
has the beautiful orange flowers and delicate pale green shiny foliage.
The form we have is ‘Nana’
which will stay small and compact, more than happy in a pot and is actually a little hardier than the type. It is considered to be hardy but we find the winter wet in the UK combined with the cold takes it's toll, so it benefits from protection in the winter as well as some heat to develop the fruit, and you can’t beat a pomegranate, even a mini one from your own tree.
We are hoping to have some full sized pomegranates available later this year for those of you with more room!
